Had a great time here. Caravan was spotless. Staff are very friendly and helpful, couldn’t wish for more from them, great team. Restaurant was really nice, great food and very well priced 10 out off 10. Thank you to fantastic team .

We had a fabulous few days at Aber Bay, all the staff were very friendly and approachable. The clubhouse is modern, with wonderful views of the bay, the food is so reasonably priced and very tasty, best steak I've had in years. Our caravan was new and well appointed, I was able to sit out on the veranda last night and watch the spectacular Aurora, what a highlight! Highly recommended.

From booking into checking out has been amazing place to visit. Staff very approachable, cheerful and helpful. One I'd best equipped caravans I've ever stayed in would love to come back. Beautiful coastline and mega views. Aberystwyth great place to visit too

I would not recommend this place to a family with young children. Our first impression was great and the lodge was immaculate. Unfortunately Only a few hours later. We released the hot tub was cold. So we decided to walk down to the family friendly clubhouse . Far from family friendly. Myself my wife and my children were asked to keep the noise down for talking. Then tried to ring to get a refund as this place clearly only wants the upper class. To then get through after 14 attempts to be told try in the morning. I will never bring my family to this place again

We recently returned from a fantastic 7-night stay here. The park and its facilities are lovely and clean, and all the staff are welcoming and friendly. We stayed in a pet-friendly caravan with a hot tub. The caravan was immaculate upon arrival and came equipped with a full-sized fridge freezer, washer/dryer combo, dishwasher, microwave, oven, kettle, and toaster. They provided dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods, a sponge, cloth, tea towels, bin bags, and a delightful doggy welcome pack. Tea, coffee, milk, and sugar were also supplied, which was a nice touch. We had zero issues with coverage from the on-site WiFi, however if it helps someone I am on Three and the mobile coverage was excellent with 5G signal. The onsite pool is a good size. Although two adults must be present at any given time for safety reasons (as there's no lifeguard), we never had to wait for someone else to join us. This rule allows you to enjoy activities like throwing a ball around without constant interruptions for a whistle being blown at you. Being a small site, the pool is never overcrowded. The bar and restaurant offer ample seating both inside and out, with dogs welcome inside the bar in the snug area. We dined there several times during our stay, and the food was of great quality and reasonably priced. There is a wide selection of beverages available, and I found them to be cheaper than many bars in Aberystwyth. While there are certain evenings with entertainment, we didn’t attend any, so I can’t comment on that. The bar area includes a small games room with air hockey and a pool table. Unfortunately, the pool cue tips were damaged, preventing us from playing. Perhaps keeping these behind the bar and requiring a deposit to use them would be a good idea. The site also features mini golf, an arcade, various activities, a small shop, and a few bars/eateries as part of Clarach Bay, though the prices there are higher, as expected. The shop is small with limited choices, but you could certainly put together a meal if needed. We drove to the Morrisons in Aberystwyth to stock up after we arrived. The beach here is a mix of sand and pebbles, with dogs allowed on part of it. There is a lifeguard station present. For rock pooling, I personally think Aberystwyth offers a better experience. The walk into Aberystwyth took us around 40 minutes along a beautiful coastline. Be aware that it can be quite steep in parts, but the views are amazing. There’s a lovely café just before the descent into the town offering a great selection of ice creams, drinks, and food. We will certainly be looking to return here in the future.

After losing out on the day trade (always empty during the day) Finally they have opened to accommodate for the general public. How ever, I completely understand concerns for the residents on the evening ! which undoubtedly should be priority ! ! But the lack of custom during the day speaks volumes as to why the general public should be allowed to frequent the premises. Also once we were allowed access . . .The food was excellent and staff exceedingly pleasant.

We visited for 7 nights with our 11 and 14 year olds. We knew it was a very quiet site with little to no entertainment but that suited us for a quiet getaway. Pros - The lodge was lovely, very clean and well maintained, dishwasher and washing machine with pods included. The hot tub was always the right temperature and was well maintained by the team who visited at least once a day. - The view from the lodge was beautiful even when the weather wasn't! - The location is quite central for days out - we visited New Quay, Machynlleth, Barmouth and Devils Falls - all within an hour of the site. You can also walk into Aberystwyth by walking over the cliff (about 45 minutes). - The site is very well cared for, the clubhouse is lovely and the indoor pool is a plus when the weather is poor. - The staff are all lovely and very welcoming, they were always very helpful. Cons - The site really is in the middle of nowhere, there are other sites around it but nothing else, a car is essential. - WiFi connection is poor and general reception is poor. - The clubhouse is quite expensive for a holiday site (2 pints and 2 cokes was over £17). There is no entertainment Monday - Thursday. - The pool is open 9am-4pm, (9-10am is adults only). There must be 2 adults (18+) in the pool at all times, this applies to adults swimmers too. I could not take my 2 older children swimming alone unless there was another adult in the pool, they are VERY strict about this, we saw people get turned away. - The closest site is not of a similar quality and have thier clubhouse, restaurant and small arcade opposite the beach. On sunny days, they play very loud music from mid-morning until late afternoon. We probably would return, we found Aber Bay good value for money and a beautiful base to explore Wales from.

Booked via hoseasons not being told this is a 3rd party site, had to pay a deposit that was not made aware of upon time of booking. Caravan beautiful, best we’ve stayed in, location fab, amenities very poor, games room listed is literally few machines and pool table, swimming pool shuts at 4pm, seems a tad early, we were told they weren’t serving drinks at 9pm at the bar, obviously don’t need our custom. It’s a ghost town come the evening so if you have a young family that like entertainment don’t come here.

We had a brand new van..very nice thank you..could have done with a blind in the shower room please. Aber Bay joins Clarach Bay by a bridge...Aber Bay holiday park is the less commercial of the two,smaller and quieter..we were out of season so not a problem,but with the Fair and amusements wouldn't have been our thing if busy. Beach a small walk away,it is rocky not sand but dogs loved it,staff friendly and had restful long weekend. Alot own their vans on Aber,had some lovely chats on walks. All in all a peaceful place to chill,I booked through Hoseasons,not realising it was 3rd party,had to pay a £50 deposit on arrival,not a problem,but never had to do it on our other bookings. Would return out of season for a long weekend break.Thanks all..😁

We stayed at aberbay holiday park our caravan was brilliant, clean and comfortable. We had a sea view which was ace.We thought the mowers and grass cutters were too loud so maybe electric equipment could be invested for the future, all in all we had had a wonderful time, thank-you.
